Summary
One creator was wrongly ruled ineligible for the Surge 50 in this edition and has been restored. The Parasocial Streaming 100 for the same week is unchanged.
What went wrong
Before an edition goes live, the same machinery generates it against an isolated rehearsal chart — a full dress run that proves the publication path without touching the published record.
The Surge 50’s permanent-retirement rule reads a creator’s best-ever placements to decide whether they have already arrived. That read was not distinguishing the rehearsal chart from the real one. A top-25 placement on a rehearsal board — a chart no reader has ever seen and that ranks nothing — was being counted as an arrival on the published Streaming 100.
Gaules was retired from Surge eligibility on the strength of a placement that was never published. The read is now scoped to published charts only.
What changed
Parasocial Streaming 100 — no change. 100 of 100 positions identical.
Parasocial Streaming Surge 50:
- Gaules is restored at #13.
- TheLordKebun (#50) leaves the board, displaced from the bottom.
- 37 positions between #13 and #50 shift down one place. No creator’s growth figure changed.
The corrected board is led by #1 Peterbot, #2 Domingo, #3 Tubbo.
Standing commitments
- Auditability. Every position and score is retained exactly as published, including every superseded version of a corrected edition and the date each version was published. What a chart said on a given day remains answerable from the record.
- Corrections are versioned, never silent. If a published edition is corrected, the prior version is retained and the correction is recorded with a public note — like this one.
- We publish our own errors. A measurement or rules fault that changed a published chart is disclosed on the same terms as an eligibility decision.
