Parasocial Snap 100 and Snap Global 100 Methodology
The Parasocial Snap 100 ranks the top English-language creators on Snapchat each week, measured by audience engagement on the platform. The Parasocial Snap Global 100 ranks the top creators on Snapchat worldwide, across all languages and markets.
What it measures
Rankings are computed from two components measured across the chart week: total view time and story views. Rankings weight total view time more heavily than story views. Where a creator has activity in only one component, the missing component counts as zero — it is never estimated, imputed, or redistributed. Every creator is measured by the same formula.
The exact weighting of these inputs is held in versioned configuration and is not published, in the same way industry music and box-office charts disclose their inputs but not their formula. When weightings are reviewed and adjusted, the adjustment is announced with the edition it takes effect.
The two editions
The Snap 100 measures the English-language creator population. The Snap Global 100 measures the worldwide population. A creator not on the English edition ranks on Global against the full field. A creator may appear on both; the two charts are computed independently under the same formula.
Eligibility
Individual creators with at least 10,000 subscribers. Brands, publishers, and organizational accounts are not eligible. The English edition ranks English-language creators; the Global edition ranks creators worldwide under the same floor. Creators for whom chart data is unavailable for a given week cannot be ranked that week.
The chart week
Saturday 00:00 UTC through Friday 24:00 UTC. Rankings are computed after the chart week closes and locked ahead of publication. Any correction after publication follows the supersession policy at /charts/integrity/. New editions publish Mondays at 9:00 AM ET.
